Nichole Ruiz is a sophomore at Barnard College of Columbia University studying computational biology and chemistry with an interest in microbiology. Born in Miami, FL, she grew up leading youth climate efforts for Fridays for Future, The Five Dollar Project and the CLEO Institute. She has collaborated with researchers at NASA GISS in studying tropospheric ozone trends over Hungary using satellites, climate models, and ground-based measurements.
